Puppy Survives Swallowing 15-Inch Metal Pole
A puppy 8 weeks old Pit Bull-chewing live again after swallowing a position of 15-inch metal garden flag FOX10.com reported.
The puppy, known as Blue, was taken to the Animal Clinic at Hillcrest Rehm, Alabama, by its owners, who do not speak to FOX10.
Veterinarians said that the owners had tried to take the post of blue throat, but her gag reflex would not allow it, and does the job go further in his stomach.
"Blue was panting. He was agitated ... He could not breathe," said Dr. Chris Rehm, who operated Blue.
Rehm said the operation lasted about 90 minutes, and she feared that the puppy 15 pounds would not be able to withstand injuries mail. Bolt cutters were used to break a piece of the post 15 inches, which prevented the dog from ingesting the whole thing.
"Had he swallowed. He would have died, "said Rehm.
Rehm said that it was probably the youth and strength that makes him blue can tolerate such an operation intense.
Blue has been a lot of bruising on the inside of the stomach, but fortunately there were no perforations. Now Blue is on antibiotics and rest comfortably.
"Once we have healed him up, it is good to go. He has already eaten again, and in fact, I bet he is ready to swallow anything," said Rehm.
